  3. 3D/4D Ultrasounds


    This new service at Omega Women’s center gives parents-to-be and medical professionals a clear, high resolution, three-dimensional view of their unborn baby. These priceless images are captured on a DVD keepsake. The optimal time to have a 3D/4D ultrasound is between 28-32 weeks gestation. The quality of the photos may vary and are dependent on the following:
    • the position of the baby.
    • the amount of amniotic fluid (the more the better).
    • the amount of tissue between the probe and the baby.

    This is intended solely for your enjoyment. It is not to be considered a diagnostic ultrasound looking for pregnancy complications, or abnormalities of your anatomy, or that of the baby's. Insurance companies will not pay for this ultrasound. If you have any questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, please call our office, or inquire at the check-out desk.
